Creative commons- a action on flickr that allows you to see other peoples pictures.
Intellectual property-a term referring to a number of distinct types of creations of the mind for which a set of exclusive rights are recognized
Copyright- an action in which allows you to not allow other people to steal your work
Public domain-The state of belonging or being available to the public as a whole.
Free ware- Software that is free of charge
Share ware- Software that is available free of charge and often distributed informally for evaluation
Open source- Denoting software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed with or without modification
Attribution- assigning some quality or character to a person or thing
Commercial use- one of the most significant factors for consideration regarding fair use
Derivative- Imitative of the work of another person, and usually disapproved of for that reason.
Share-alike- Creative Commons licenses are several copyright licenses initially released on December 16, 2002 by Creative Commons
Firewall- a program that helps keep viruses away from your computer.
Virus- a program that hurts your computer and could break it
Hacking- when a person goes on another person’s personal use without their permission
Privacy- or condition of being free from being observed or disturbed by other people
Malware- software that is intended to destroy a computer or computer systems
